Golden Nugget Player Room Review The ONLY place to play downtown. 01/08/09, Player: ecke101 Total Rating: 4.55 Room Quality Rating: 5 Room Quality Description: Great condition, general look blends with the rest of the casino (classy for downtown), clean, and somewhat isolated from the rest of the casino. Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: It's a fishpond. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: Could have been a lot faster. The dealers didn't spot hands as quickly as I can (which is to be expected somewhat, I guess), and sometimes would call the wrong winner. They could use some new dealers. Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: I was never long without liquid. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: Management here is really friendly and professional. They are quick to get chips, come help with a call, get you seated, etc. Very impressive for a downtown room. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: $10 comp at snack bar after 4 hours of play. Their snack bar is good. Also could count against the (overpriced) buffet. Back to Golden Nugget Room Review |
