Orleans Player Room Review Week of 22-June-2008 06/29/08, Player: bscrivener Total Rating: 2.40 Room Quality Rating: 2 Room Quality Description: Noisy, but comfortable chairs. Lots of locals and husband/wife teams on same table. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: NLHE a little looser than what I'm used to. Was my first time playing limit O8B, but still did okay. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: Mix of good and bad ... so average. Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: Not very good looking, but proficient at their job. Management Rating: 1 Management Description: Very noisy. The manager was always on the loudspeakers. There was lots of movement shuffling players from table to table. Never seemed to have enough dealers. Ex, on Friday night, there were 20+ on the limit O8B list alone ... and they sent two dealers home. And they held an employee evaluation on an empty table next to mine, out in the open so that everyone could hear the manager lecturing the dealer. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: Had 3 different jackpots (stud, omaha and holdem). Didn't really play long enough there to get many comps. Back to Orleans Room Review |
