Caesars Palace Player Room Review
My Caesars experience

Total Rating: 3.30
Room Quality Rating: 4
Room Quality Description: Nice poker room in general. Pros: Roomy, comfy chairs, well lit. Cons: Sounded like a parade in the night club next door, had to share rest room with a drunken night club crowd.
Competition Rating: 4
Competition Description: Had several solid players and a few real live ones. Good steady stream of kids that didnt look old enough to play donating 100-300 bucks and leaving.
Dealer Rating: 5
Dealer Description: Had the best bunch of dealers I think I have ever seen. Can't remember names too well but they all were excellent. Friendly, but not to the point where they slow the game down. Gave a friendly prodding to a couple of slow players on the table to keep the game moving. Mistakes were so minimal not worth mentioning.
Cocktail Rating: 1
Cocktail Description: Ordered a Glenfiddich and water, and wasnt sure if they would serve it. Sometimes when I play I have to settle for Chivas or Dewars, but thats OK. I was pleased when the waitress took my order. Came back with some sort of rockgut scotch. When I told her she had my order wrong, she said you wanted a scotch and water right? I said I asked for Glen. She then told me all they had were well drinks. I asked for an orange juice instead. Didnt get it on the next trip, then didnt see the waitress again. Next waitress took my order (for OJ) and brought it. Total time from when I ordered my first drink to when I got something was just under an hour. If you get thirsty like I do, bring a canteen with you to this poker room.
Management Rating: 2
Management Description: Friendly staff of floor people but I get the impression these guys are pretty new to poker. Maybe they were transfers from the Black Jack pit or something. Had to call the floor over a dispute, which most of us at the table(including the dealer) knew was a no brainer, but the one player who didnt speak English too well, felt he had a claim to the pot. Floor came over and listened to the parties involved. Look like a deer in headlights. His ruling was er,ah,sir,ah I think we should split the pot. The person who clearly was the winner did not object and gave the other player roughly half the pot (which was already mixed in with his chips). Im not a poor man, but if that were me you would have had to get a couple of guards and take those chips away from me by force.
Comps Rating: 2
Comps Description: They came around and took everyone's player cards so I know you get something for playing there. I was too lazy to get a new card, I left mine in a video poker room, so I dont know how much you get for playing there. They had a high hand promotion. Table next to us got 2 of four of a kinds and each time they were rewarded with $60. I played in other places in Vegas where you get a few hundred or so for hitting one of these. Why are they so low here at Caesars?
