Wynn poker room has added CAPS to its 1/3 and 2/5 NL games, and no longer uses $3 chips!
The Wynn poker room has added maximum buy ins to its 1/3 and 2/5 NLHE games, for the first time.

Date: 12/08/08
Room: Wynn
Summary: For the first time since the room opened, the Wynn has added a maximum buy in to its 1/3NLHE and 2/5NLHE games. Also, the Wynn has removed the $3 chips from the 1/3 game, and now uses red chips in all NL games.

Content: The Wynn poker room has decided to add capped buy ins to its 1/3 and 2/5 No Limit Hold'em games for the first time.

The 1/3NLHE game now has a minimum buy in of $100 and a maximum buy in of $500. It now uses $5 red chips instead of the $3 chips that the game was previously well known for.

The 2/5NLHE game now has a minimum buy in of $200 and a maximum buy in of $2000, the highest capped buy in of any 2/5NLHE game in Las Vegas.

It is uncertain what prompted these changes, as of this writing.

To discuss the Wynn poker room, please see the AVP Discussion Forum Wynn Poker Room thread located: HERE.

Thank you!
