News Luxor poker room is dropping $2 per hand for the jackpot! The Luxor poker room quietly changed its jackpot drop policy from $1 max dropped on $10 (standard for most rooms that offer high hand jackpots) to $2 max ($1 on $10 and $1 on $60) on all cash games. Date: 09/18/08 Room: Luxor Summary: The Luxor poker room quietly changed its jackpot drop policy from $1 max dropped on $10 (standard for most rooms that offer high hand jackpots) to $2 max ($1 on $10 and $1 on $60) on all cash games. Content: The Luxor poker room increased their jackpot rake a few months ago to $2 per hand. Luxor is the first casino that AVP is aware of to have a $2 max drop per hand for the jackpot fund. This makes the total per hand collection $6 (10% $4 max rake, and $2 max jackpot). The first dollar is dropped when the pot reaches $10. The second and final dollar is dropped when the pot reaches $60.
