Rock On MGM! - 100 Player Reviews and Going Strong.
MGM Grand: Congrats on becoming the first poker room at All Vegas Poker to receive 100 player reviews. Vegas card room executives should pay attention. A lot can be learned from the success of the poker room at MGM Grand.

Date: 01/05/06
Room: MGM Grand
Summary: MGM Grand: Congrats on becoming the first poker room at All Vegas Poker to receive 100 player reviews. Vegas card room executives should pay attention. A lot can be learned from the success of the poker room at MGM Grand.

Content: Listen up Las Vegas poker executives - If you want to build a successful card room, then I suggest you take a good long look at MGM Grand, because that place has got the right idea.

Today MGM Grand received its 100th poker player review at All Vegas Poker. It is the first poker room to receive 100 player reviews. This is an important milestone for All Vegas Poker, and it is also a tremendous testament to the success of the poker room at MGM Grand.

In only nine months, MGM Grand reached the 100 player review mark, and amazingly it accomplished this with overwhelming support from poker players.

Its ranking speaks for itself. MGM Grand is consistently neck and neck with Wynn for top honors at All Vegas Poker. That’s pretty good company.

MGM Grand is also consistently among the top three most researched card rooms at All Vegas Poker. Just last month more than 7,000 people read its editor review, and thousands more people read the player reviews and trip reports discussing MGM Grand.

From a profitability perspective, I have absolutely no idea how much the poker room at MGM Grand rakes compared with its contemporaries. But I do know that poker rooms filled with players earn the most. And the poker room at MGM Grand is usually packed.

Why is the poker room at MGM Grand full of players? Because MGM Grand gets it. Management there created a uniquely enjoyable poker playing environment, and staffed it with quality people. They also invested in technology, and paid attention to the details. That is a winning formula folks.

I also have to mention that MGM Grand was the first Las Vegas poker room to approach All Vegas Poker and express interest in reaching out to our community. All Vegas Poker does not accept advertising directly from Vegas poker rooms, so instead we worked out a deal that rewards contributors to the community. I have no doubt that its increased visibility as a result of the monthly MGM Grand promotion resulted in more players (and more reviews on All Vegas Poker). Smart move.

I have been told by players that the poker room management at MGM Grand read the website regularly. If that’s true, then I just want to say congrats, and keep rock’n.

You can read the 100th player review of the poker room at MGM Grand here.

On your next visit to MGM Grand, please mention to management there that you read about the poker room at All Vegas Poker. I’m sure they will appreciate it.

And, if you have played poker at MGM Grand (or any other Vegas card room), please consider contributing a review or trip report.
