Summary: Yesterday Green Valley Ranch added three new poker tables to its poker room. Hopefully this won't impair one of its best attributes, the spaciousness of the poker room.
Content: Yesterday I received a tip that Green Valley Ranch (GVR) expanded its poker room by adding three new poker tables. Today I called the GVR poker room to confirm the rumor and it's true; the GVR poker room now has 14 tables. The three newest tables are not yet being used because there are still a few finishing touches that must be completed, but the new poker tables should be operational within the next few days.
Why should you care? Because this minor expansion is a sign that GVR's poker room is doing well, which I'm happy to learn. I haven't visited yet to inspect the additional poker tables, but I do hope that the expansion does not impair one of the best features of GVR's poker room; its spaciousness. I don't think three tables will do too much damage, but that is probably the limit before the poker room becomes cramped.
There is still an unconfirmed report that this current poker room at Green Valley Ranch is only temporary, and that a new poker room is under construction. If you have any more information about the GVR poker room, or news about any other poker room in Las Vegas, please send an e-mail to info@allvegaspoker.com. All sources are confidential.
