Summary: The Excalibur now has a No Limit poker tournament at 9:00 a.m. daily. The total buy-in cost is $35. Thanks to Tony Green, the Excalibur poker room manager, for passing along all the information so we could update the All Vegas Poker tournament page.
Content: Excalibur has finally started offering a daily no limit poker tournament. I always thought it would be cool if The Excalibur poker room offered a little tournament, so I’m pleased to report this information.
The $35 buy-in daily no limit poker tournament is expected to draw approximately 60 players. It is a freezeout style poker tournament, similar to the Luxor daily tournaments next door (meaning no re-buys if you bust out early). Blinds increase every 15 minutes, and players begin with only $300 in chips, so it’s a very quick tourney. That’s fine because a lot of people really love quick poker tourneys (just look at the success of those daily Luxor freezeouts).
Unfortunately, the payout isn’t great. This Excalibur tournament returns only 71% of the total $35 buy-in to players. Despite the low payout, it should still be a fun tourney. Excalibur is a really fun poker room. And, if the Excalibur tournament players are even remotely comparable to the cash game players, then you can expect a lot of dead money.
Thanks to Tony Green, the Excalibur poker room manager for passing along this new information. He sent me everything I needed to know to add the tournament to the database.
If you know of a poker tournament that is not listed on the All Vegas Poker tournament page, please send me all the info so it can be listed. Just look at the tournaments already listed so you will know what information is required. info@allvegaspoker.com
